This is CWOA's first quarterly newsletter. We hope it is relevant
and informative. We are sure it will improve with time. Residents
contributions for consideration to this newsletter, are encouraged
and appreciated.
SOME OLDIES BUT GOODIES!!!
These items are some of the most common and repeated issues
the board receives inquiries about from residents.
DRIVE SAFE AND SLOW
Please remember to pay attention while driving
and keep a safe speed of around 20 miles
per hour. Remember, children and walkers
are everywhere.
CURB DAMAGE DURING SNOW
IF we ever get snow again, please keep in mind the suggestion
of putting landscape flags at specific areas of curbs to prevent
scrape damage. This works well in other communities, and they
are fairly cheap to buy. Most are 18"-24" tall and
should suffice in most snows. We will advise driver that he
should stay away from any posted flags at least 18-24 inches.
PARKING IN STREETS AND/OR COMMON AREAS
The occasional gathering is understood. When is becomes an
everyday occurrence it is dangerous as well as inconsiderate.
BARKING AND/OR LOOSE RUNNING DOGS
Saved the best for last huh? This is a problem that does not
get any better, even with repeated discussion. This is a common
courtesy for your fellow neighbor. Please be a responsible
pet owner, and considerate neighbor by leashing your dog, and
preventing disturbing noise.
SOME GOOD NEWS
OK. Enough complaining. New street signs will be installed
by February at the latest.
Butte Mountain issue is being addressed. Details will be provided
in next newsletter.
We may have a women's group listed on the site to share recipe's
and other fun things.
There hopefully are other things coming to the site submitted
by residents, that will involve community participation. Many
ideas have been discussed and brought up.
PARTY CHEESE DIP RECEPIE
1 bottle salsa
1 block of hot Velveeta Mexican style cheese
Combine both in pot. Slowly melt cheese. Stir occasionally.
Enjoy with tortilla chips.
Remember, this is your site! Take advantage of this opportunity
by submitting ideas and articles. Until April, Happy Days to
all.
